POEMS FOR YOUR COMMENT..................................................... ................. I wake up in the morning to the sound of the ocean crashing..........Then discover it is my alarm with it's soothing sounds.........I reach over and turn it off........................Waiting for the smallest sound first to hit my ears..............The soft, insistent percolating which I know will soon bring............. A full-bodied smell that permeates my sleepy brain............... And becons me to rise..................It wins the battle every time.......................I must swing my legs over the edge of the bed............Find my fuzzy slippers and flipflop my way to the kitchen............Ahh there it awaits...................... The sweetest sunshine flows through the kitchen window............Resting on my wonderful pot of crystal clear amber-brown liquid.........I pull my favorite mug from the cupboard............It has waited for me the night through..............Gently placing it on the countertop.............I pull the pot from it's resting place..............................And slowly and silently pour my first cup of the morning..................I raise it slowly to my lips savoring the bold fresh aroma.........Sipping contentedly I begin to come alive..................With the Lord's help and cup in hand I'm ready to face the day!................. written by Donna today 10/12/06
