Penny Larson is a versatile drummer and percussionist who has combined a keen musical awareness with robust technical facility to become a highly desired musician in the northeastern US. Her past experience includes performances with classical, jazz, fusion, rock, heavy metal, pop, Christian, and folk groups on a multitude of instruments including drum set, djembe, marimba, frame drum, and udu. Penny is an alumna of Berklee College of Music where she earned a Youth Concerts at Symphony Hall Award while majoring in Traditional Composition. She has been teaching private drum set lessons for eighteen years and is currently a staff instructor at DiCenso's Drum Shop. She is a part-time adjunct faculty member for Berklee College's Summer Guitar Week.
Penny is currently performing with Hypaspace, Siddiqa Christine Jugueta, and Joya Abbott-Graves. She is a member of the music ministry team at The Crossing and a cast member of Le Cirque du Singe Brisé.
