About Me

I am extremely proud of my Irish heritage, and to be in the U.S. where we are allowed to be proud of our past and learn from our history in order to make our future better.I have a very warped sense of humour, and love bad Irish jokes. I have been with the same wonderful man {see him in my pictures} for 14 years, and married to him for 12 years. We have no children except each other - but I seem to be everyone's Mom {which I love! I figure I didn't have my own children because there were other people who needed a "Bonus Mom"!}.I also love attending Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festivals, in my wench outfit with my best friend Valerie. I do not hang out with the "Ren fair" people so much, I "wench" because it is fun!Myspace Codes / Myspace Layouts

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Lots of new people, people who like to laugh. I love karaoke because it is a great outlet, whether or not you have any talent to sing - it's great to see people at least try...and I'll be clapping and yelling the loudest for you!People who believe in the concept of "Pay It Forward", or doing something good for someone else, and asking for repayment in the form of them doing something nice for somebody in turn. It may sound mushy, but if more people in this world adopted this attitude, the world would be a better place.I also believe we shouldn't look for angels in our lives...we should try to *be* the angels. So I want to meet other "angels"!A note though: Please do not send me apps. I haven't got enough time to play with them and I just ignore them. Thanks!

Saying goodbye to a friend

Last night, I had to do one of the hardest - yet one of the most important things I have ever had to do in my life. I was asked to write a tribute/obituary type notice for a friend that passed away a ...

Atrocious Holiday Pun

A man goes to the dentist a week before Christmas. His dentist looks in his mouth and says "What in the wide, wide world of sports? That plate I put in your mouth just a few months ago is co...
