border="0" alt="MySpace Layouts" /Beyond all of the rant below, I have a passion for life in all its splendor. I enjoy the rises & sets of the sun. I enjoy the beauty, wonder & magic of our planet as well as throughout our universe. And with all of that, I enjoy a few good laughs & a good drink along the way. Plus, keep in mind that I do all my own stunts! And I tend to crash. So, bad for me but great entertainment for you! If I think it might make you laugh or smile - I'll probably do it.
I feel strongly that we should give great care for the only planet that we have to live on. 'Don't bite the hand that feeds you', we should always take good care of our environment. We should work *WITH* nature, not have the 'nature should work with us' mentality. The Earth Pledge: "I pledge allegiance to the Earth and all the life it supports. One Planet, in our care, irreplaceable, with sustenance and respect for all. May the forest be with you." Enjoy this quiz & discover your own Ecological Footprint
I feel strongly about energy solutions that are both environmentally sound & sustainable. Give this website a good going over & be sure to view the videos - Disclosure Project
Health wise, I don't like the health care system in the US at all. It's an embarrassment. I enjoy the Naturopathic Medicine philosophies.
Politically, I'm conservative on some issues & I'm liberal on others. I'm Independent and look forward to an Independent President. I enjoy the political humor of the "Daily show" & the "Colbert Report" on Comedy Central. I'm disgusted with the corruption & incompetence of the Bush W. administration & I'm also very disappointed with the Democrats. I have lost confidence in our gov'ts ability to do the right things & I've lost confidence in some Americans ability to recognize the difference. Enjoy this - Gate
Don't even get me started on Globalization etc...it could be a positive thing if it were geared towards energy & environmental sustainability. But it's not. I find the direction we're headed totally unacceptable & I'll fight it every step of the way. David Icke has an outstanding 6 hour presentation on 3 DVD's to further explain this.
Religiously, I'm now a Freethinker/Atheist after being Xian (Christian) for 20 years. "Atheist" is properly defined as one who simply has an "absence of belief in any gods". That's it, nothing more, nothing less (For further explanation see, "What is a Freethinker?" FFRF
I've been "saved", "baptized" & read the entire bible from beginning to end many times (& still read it for research). So please, STOP sending me scripture trying to bring me back to Jesus or God. It's NEVER going to work. The flaws in the bible & other holy books only help confirm a stronger case for atheism anyway.
At some point in ones life, one must begin to ask very serious questions concerning religion. I simply got tired of being lied to. Every bible should have a disclaimer sticker on it that reads something like: "This book discusses gods. The existence of entities with supernatural powers is controversial, and many believe that myths, especially other people's myths, are fictional. This material should be approached with an open mind, studied carefully, and critically considered." OR, "These stories are a collage of many other, much older stories that are known to be myths, legends &/or Astrotheology / Solar Mythology & should never be taken as literal fact."
Must view these 2 VIDEOS in this order (& give the entire website good going over): 1. "Life and Liberty for All Who Believe" 2. "The Rise of Dominionism" Theocracywatch
BTW, Islam is no better, stay far away from Islam

“When you consider that God could have commanded anything he wanted--anything!--the Ten [Commandments] have got to rank as one of the great missed moral opportunities of all time. How different history would have been had he clearly and unmistakably forbidden war, tyranny, taking over other people's countries, slavery, exploitation of workers, cruelty to children, wife-beating, stoning, treating women--or anyone--as chattel or inferior beings.â€

"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."
~ Historian Stephen Henry Roberts 1901-71
