My name is Jsean born Justin Sean Auguste on May 5, 1987 in Los Angeles, California. Raised in the church, I developed a strong passion for music. At the age of five, I started leading songs in the church choir, and participating in stage plays. It became evident that I was born to be an entertainer. My passion lead me to teach myself how to master many different instruments such as the drums, piano and keyboard, and perfecting my voice as a vocalist and rapper. I enjoy all different genres of music like gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues, country, rock, pop, and of course hip hop. My love for hip hop inspired me to compose my own instrumentals. In high school I started my own independent music label which consisted of my peers, and most importantly myself. I began producing, writing, arranging, managing, and engineering out my house.Through out my life I have experienced many tragedies. I have lost two uncles, an aunt, a cousin, grandparents, and my mother. These experiences have made a major impact on my life. I have used my music to channel my anger and frustration, and guide me to success. My goal as a rapper is to share my stories with the world and express my feelings from another perspective. Also, to encourage others who have experienced hardships similar to mine and it is possible to achieve their dreams. I want to represent Los Angeles in a positive way.Currently, I have been dedicating my time to my music. I have spent many nights in the studio recording my heart and soul into my songs. I have done public performances at the Patriotic hall, located in Downtown Los Angeles, local clubs, talent shows, and parties. I recently completed my first album entitled "My Gift,"and a mix tape entitled "No Holds Bar." I have also been recording with other performing recording artist such as Roscoe Umali, Murphee Lee, and local recording artist like Lil' Al, Al B. Sure's son, Landon Brown, Bobby Brown's son, and Lil' Cube, Ice Cube's son. I am working with a writing team for other performing recording artist as well. I am continuously trying to achieve perfection in my music and if given the chance to be heard by a world wide audience, I will seize every opportunity and make my passion a career. I am Jsean, a rapper, a singer, a producer, a writer, and a fan!
