About Me

1st time we played publicly we were honored to play for The Great Mr. Philip Paul. Mr. Paul drummed on over 350 King Records tracks from 1952-1964, including the 1st Train Kept A-Rollin' with Tiny Bradshaw, Fever with Little Willie John, The Twist with Hank Ballard, and Good Rockin' Tonight with Wynonie Harris. Mr. Paul started out on jazz in Harlem before getting recruited for the West End Cotton Club (before the club was run down by I-75). Mr. Paul can be found in jazz combos at weekend spots around town. Mr. Paul is the 1st rock and roll drummer. Get Mr. Paul's 1st solo album recently released.
