Secada is the result of long time dreams of 4 different people.
In 2004 Jim Snyder and Erika PM began writing bits and pieces of what are now full length songs. They worked with several different musicians and friends who have all left small influences on them along the way to finding Dan Nowell at the end of 2005.Through hundreds of practices, several live shows (both good and bad), countless recordings and re-recordings that sound eerily similar to each other and a few new faces coming and leaving the band, Secada has become what they are today: a band who does not care about genres, labels and fitting stereotypes, but more so about experiencing and creating music in the moment and learning from their successes and mistakes in order to make music more enjoyable and hopefully find some success in the process.In 2008 Daniel Ballarin joined Secada and took them out of a temporary ditch in the road. Since then, Secada has created newer music and has adapted newer, more liberating views on writing music.
