SahLence is the pinnacle of Hip-Hop Soul. Sexy, talented and charismatic with a 5-octave range, she is a born and bred musician. Born and raised in Staten Island, New York by way of Miami, Florida and Baltimore, Maryland, this amazing songstress and writer has performed amongst the likes of many notable artists, not only as a background vocalist, but as a headliner.
Her resume includes performances with Carl Thomas, Jaguar Wright, Raheem Devaugn, Rhian Benson, Bilal Oliver, Eric Roberson, Fertile Ground, J.S.O.U.L., Dru Hill, Musiq Soulchild and many other amazing artists and bands. She has also performed with world renowned musicians such as Cory Baker, Joel Mills, and Craig Alston.
SahLence has captivated crowds with her energetic and powerful perfomances at The African American Heritage Festival, Baltimore's Artscape, Jazzy Summer Nights, S.O.B.'s - New York, Organic Soul, Eden's Lounge, The 13th Floor, Suite, and many other internationally recognized venues.
As both an amazing writer and talented vocal arranger, she has penned references for Day 26, Letoya Luckett, Usher, Keyshia Cole, Case and many other artists.
SahLence is the Founder and Lead Creative Director of 1211 Publishing, an ASCAP affiliated entity, and is currently an Entertainment Management Major / Intellectual Property Law Minor attending Coppin State University.
