The Topanga Mountain Tree O formed in 2002 after a few informal porch- picking sessions with Eric, Darby and Brendon. After a few bassless gigs, Sean started showing up and finally decided that he really needed to be a part of this band in order for his life to feel complete. The rest of the band refused to change their name in order to accomodate Sean's tardiness in joining the band. With that being said the Tree O is not actually a trio contrary to popular belief. Rumors have been spread that one of us is really not a member of the band but after many late night meetings and pick sessions, that rumor is yet to be confirmed.
