My Interests

Music, books, wine, sleeping, cooking, camping...watching endless hours of reality television (much to my husband's dismay), spending time with friends, live music (although not enough lately), doing my best to out do Martha Stewart (minus the whole breaking the law/jail time thing).

I'd like to meet:

Makes me laugh: My Cousin Vinny, Parenthood, Mallrats, Dogma, When Harry Met Sally

Because of the music: Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction, The Doors

Television:

Books:

I have a degree in English Lit, so I'll try to make it abbreviated. In no particular order:
The Picture of Dorian Grey (Oscar Wilde)

Cat's Cradle, Slaghterhouse-Five and Breakfast of Champions (Kurt Vonnegut)
East of Eden (John Steinbeck)
Great Gatsby (F.Scott Fitzgerald)
Light in August (William Faulkner)
White Noise (Don Dellilo)
The Cider House Rules (John Irving)
Blood Meridian or The Evening Redness in the West (Cormac McCarthy)
Beloved (Toni Morrison)
Interview with the Vampire (Anne Rice)
The Color Purple (Alice Walker)
Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code (Dan Brown)
Great Expectations and a Tale of Two Cities (Charles Dickens)
The Metamorphosis (Franz Kafka)
Lolita (Vladimir Nabokov)
Cancer Ward (Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn)
The Death of Ivan Ilyich (Leo Tolstoy)
A Million Little Pieces and My Friend Leonard (James Frey)
Lately I have enjoyed:
Belly Laughs (Jenny McCarthy)
anything that has to do with pregnancy, childbirth or babies
I am reading Erma Bombeck's "I Lost Everything in the Post-Natal Depression" because my mom read it when she was pregnant with me and finished it December 30, 1977. Yeah, she dated it. I was born January 7, 1978.

Heroes:

Anyone who can forgive others people for their flaws, anyone who can open their mind and not judge people just because they aren't the same as you, anyone who takes time out of their day to do just one thing for someone esle that won't benefit themselves.
