Without sounding like conceited bastards, the 12 O'Clock experience is an inevitable progression in a journey that is sorely needed in 'music' right now. 12 O'Clock production unit, looking for a new outlet resulting from the 'suspension' of Digitek activities, naturally linked with long time protege, family member, and aspiring artist Louis the Monkey. Hoping to influence the direction UK Hip Hop was taking at the time, they embarked on a mutual mission to create an original Hip Hop sound that wasn't merely tryin' to emulate the archytypal 'US sound' currently eminating out of New York and London.
BACKGROUND: In 1999, 12 O'Clock (Pablo and Don Woz) started working with legendary MCs Jnr Red, MC Buzz and Brighton top dog DJ IYE95 later forming Digitek. The release of their debut album, Keep The world Guessing, earnt them rave reviews including album of the month in DJ magazine. Long time protege Louis the Monkey (Falasha) has dabbled in many a B-Town project, waitin' for his time to come but found a true spar was in playground enemy Chatem.
