Pursuit Myself Biography
Pursuit Myself was founded the year 2004
by DeMartin and his brother Marcus. They met
Anton Fjällström sometime in 2005, asked him
to join the band. He quit the band he was in
at the time and took some members with him to join
Pursuit Myself. After sometime Fredrik Karlsson Joined
the band to be the new bass player. Fredrik nowadays play
in the band called The Limiteds
The Band had their first show in 06 with
that Line-Up, In the summer of 06 DeMartin met
Daniel'Nonne' Eklöw, on accident while practise
for fun with some of their same friends. He almost joined
the band at once and replaced the first drummer of Pursuit Myself
Pursuit Myself were in Rock Karusellen 07 with
that Line-up
and later that year recorded their first real Demo Tape
called "Dismantle the Wrath"
Under the recording of DTW the singer at the time, Robert "Hövet" Hedemo
Quited due the distance that he had to the band
The band stood there with a demo to record without a singer
But tables did turn, and a guy Called Gus Ring had seen
Pursuit Myself play live several times and were really fond
of their style to play. At the time Gus were the singer of a
band called Ruins of A Mind. He soon left his band to play with PM
The first thing he did in the band as the new member were to record
the album. some months after that he had his first gig with the band...
In the beginning of 2008 Fredrik Karlsson left Pursuit Myself,
also there it was a sort of distance to the band and him, which made
everone unhappy. In the beginning of 09 Fredrik Joined
The Limiteds to be their new bassplayer.
Without a Bassplayer the band recorded their second demo tape.
they asked their first bassplayer to record with them, and he said yes.
Sometime after the demo was finished, he rejoined the band.
The band played several shows the whole year of 2008.
In December 2008 Anton Fjällström left Pursuit Myself due some
personal Stuffs. He later started a band with some friends called Presence
He helped the band to find a new member to replace him and after a while
Rikard "Holma" Holmberg the singer of the band KVOT joined Pursuit Myself
to be their new Guitar player.
Right now PM, have their asses in the studio, recording a full lenght album.
