May 2006, Kaposvár, Hungary:. Former highschool mates and friends brought together the band motivated by the intetion to mix the energy and intensity of hardcore music , the strength metal and the D.I.Y. mentality of punk. The name came from the title of a Dropkick Murphys song and it means more than just the band, it represents our strong relation to our families and that we stand up for our friends. After we wrote some songs we started playing gigs. In a short time we played across the country and shared the stage with great Hungarian and foreign bands like C.A.F.B., Fallenintoashes, Rasty and Tragic Vision. In march 2007 video footage from one of our concerts was featured on the Old Skull Fest II DVD. In summer our first five track promo cd was released, and it was freely available on the internet. In march 2008 Bazsa on guitar quit the band, and we decided that no one should take his place.
Time passed and in 2008 we got more chances to play at many shows, and our name started to become familiar to more hardcore/punk members of the hungarian and the local HC community. We made lots of new friends by palying and participating in various underground activities.
By this time we decided to define our style of music, as it was not pure punk, and yet not pure hardcore. We called it punkcore, and we are still happy with this name, because it represents the taste of all the members in our band, this way we make no compromises, we always and only play music that we like to.
During summertime we took our free time and made use of it, and started to record our very first official album, with 11 songs on it. (punkcore elite). Some of our songs were featured on compilation albums like Ear Damage vol.3, When the bastards are united.
At the end of 2008, by the start of 2009, we realized that we still need another guitarist to play with, this was the time, when Füszi joined the group. His massive and strict style works perfectly with Leki's oldschool groovey punk styled playing.
Thanks to this, we made one more step towards perfecting the style of punkcore, and as we assume, we will be on this path, as far as we can be.
