About Me

This is the site for Jimi and Cyndi, singers in the rock band Mongo Huey!!! They have been doing this for quite some time. Jimi started out singing solo, then joined the band Constance X. That band wrote some nice original music, and then went their seperate ways. Cyndi started out singing country in a solo project. She started writting songs right off the bat, and came up with some very deep material(later some of those songs would find new life in Mongo). After meeting up, the two fell in love and fell into an accoustic act together. This led them to meeting what would become the founding members of Mongo Huey. After nearly ten years and almost 800 shows, the band and the couple are going strong. To put it in perspective, Jimi Lee and Cyndi Lee have been together longer and done more shows than Sonny and Cher, Guns & Roses, and J-lo & Ben!!! They would like to thank the guys in the band for being so talanted and understanding. Its not easy playing with a married couple(ask Fleetwood Mac). And they send out all of their love to the Mongo Militia for giving them so much support. It is for you that they sing their hearts out at every show!!! Rock on Mongo Militia!!! And last but not least, they would like to thank their kids for putting up with parants who are in show buisness for all these years. "We love Jessie, Nate, Kayla, Jennifer, and Brian with all our hearts!!"
