Right then, I best stop bein a tit and be serious for once. so here goes. Im a singer songwriter,and a I was one of the founder members of liverpool band "space" I also used to write and sing half the songs with space,(mine were the good ones!) I left them in 2002 because i felt Id out grown them musicaly and spiritualy,we..d all out grown each other though by that point I think, but it was great while it lasted,we toured the world together for years and sold literaly millions of records,and even though we dont live in each others pockets anymore,rivers run deep with each other and we all love the bones of each other,and at the end of the day,no one can take away what the five of use acheived together. Anyway I moved on to form my own band"Firehead",that was a really SHIT band but I had my head far to much up my own arse at the time for it to really work properly so I split the band up at the begining of 2006. For a few months I went away to get my head together over my split from my girlfriend of 5 years,and to see what i wanted to do with my life and if i still wanted to be in a band.I was on the verge of packing it all in until a chance meeting with a long time friend and former firehead guitarist "vince hagen". Vince is a guy who I respect,love and admire as a person and as a songwriter there is no one better in my oppinion, apart from me of course! When we bumped into each other after nearly 3 years,he told me he..d just split from his girlfriend of 5 years! so it just seemed like it was fate that brought us toghther again.So we decided to form a new band,with me and him writing the songs together and us both singing them. Someone else ive always wanted to get back in a band with is "franny griffiths" the keyboard player in space and my bestest buddy. so i got in touch with him and we are now all one big happy family again.The name of our new band is "DUST",and our site is www.myspace.com/dust, We will hopefully be gigging early next year,and i cant wait,musicaly its the happiest ive ever been and im sure it will take off big time. so fingers crossed people. xxx
