Kyla Sexton is one of Australia’s most in-demand vocalists for live shows and productions and has been described as ‘sex on a mic’. After years of enjoying the music from the dance-floor, silently singing along, she decided to make a career singing with the DJ’s and producing the tracks. ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................... She began at an all girl dj night at the infamous Hugo's lounge in Kings Cross, after every performance she was booked for another, dj's and crowd falling in love with Kyla's heavenly voice. ............................................................ ............................................................ ...................... Over the past five years she has been honing her song-writing and live performance with many talented Australian producers and DJ's; freestyling in the best of Sydney's house nights and up and down the east coast of Australia. ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................... She has been resident at the best underground house music nights in Sydney for many years. Kyla performed a whirlwind tour of the UK and Ibiza in Summer 2008, performing at the infamous Soho Pride festival in London and the official after-party at Café de Paris, then on to Ibiza to do some recording and a few exclusive shows at Es Vive. ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................... Producers around the world are now banging on the doorstep of this Sydney diva, First release was a soulful song called 'Lonely' with New York producer Jaymz Nylon. Second Release on Swedish indie label 2 Delicious 'Disco Dynamite' with producers Winston and Yoddy received airplay all over the world coming no 2 in the American Dj Release Promo charts. Third release "WHAT YOU DO" on Aussie indie label Silver Sneaker in April 2009 and then a double release ‘Can’t Deny’ and ‘Out of Time’ both beautiful, soulful tracks with UK producers Soulbasics, soon to be eleased through Meerkat Recordings UK in May 09. ............................................................ ............................................................ ........................The next step for this sultry, down-to-earth house music diva?
