Daniel Gloomy

Daniel Gloomy is a Slovenia based DJ and producer owner of Beast Music and Cardiac Arrest Recordings as well as one of the most influential techno promoters in his home country. His passion for electronic music emerged in the late 80’s triggered by bands such as Kraftwerk, Laibach, Borghesia, JM Jarre etc. In his teens he turned to more powerful music like jungle and hardcore until he discovered techno in 95. Since the end of the millennium Daniel’s CV in techno consists of establishing promotion group called Downlands, hosting two techno radio shows called Downlands @ Night and Red District and having residencies at legendary clubs such as K4 and Lipa in Ljubljana (SI) and Colosseum (Cro). Daniel is considered to be the bringer and the front man of the new wave of hard techno in Slovenia which resulted in numerous gigs across Europe and South America already. Daniel’s performance can be described as an energetic joyride through the harder sounds of techno and as he’d say “it’s all about having fun”.
