Sonic grows up in Gladbeck,a small town in germany,but his roots are from Turkey,the land of the oriental dance.
The oriental dance is a dance from the center of the body,the source of energy for all dance moves.Prerequisite to the oriental dance is to discover the different parts,parts of the body and muscles,to become acquainted to them and finally to learn how to move the parts of danceform,figures and elements.These forms will be connected within the dance,developing into a harmonious fusion.Above all,mimic,arms and hands,arm posture and arm moves give the dance his unique expression,classiness,dignity,playfullness and dreaminess.
Connecting these elements is what Sonic early appreciated and that branded him.
Within a short time,he developed his own style and arranged his first dance group when he was twelve.With this group he performed at many village fairs.But he wanted more.
He dreamt of being on stage with the superstars.
Whenever and whereever he had the chance to practise with exprienced and famous choreographers at different workshops,he was there.It was just question of time,that he would be detected and over since then he dances on stage with national and international artists and popstars.
For Sonic to dance is not only a job,it is his passion,his philosophy.Besides the expression of this moves,it is particularly his aura,his magic,which encloses him on stage and let the viewer forget everything arround him for a while.His way to visualise music is "magic",magic which emanates from his heart,carried by ambition,whishfulness and his faith,which makes Sonic to an exceptional dancer,to a special human being.
