Biography
Chris Adams AKA Rooster was born in Georgia in 1983. At the age of six, his dad split from his mother, took custody of Rooster, and moved the two of them to Tennessee. Spending the majority of his life without his mother, Rooster was naturally inspired by his father, who was a gifted songwriter and performer. Rooster soon discovered that he had tremendous talent of his own.
Growing up in the foundation of a musical household, Rooster was a talented singer and performer, even as a child. Although his dad tried to steer him away from it, Rooster was always taken by the soul of R & B and the rawness of Rap. Even though he didn’t fit the stereotype of someone who would love the genre, when Rooster sang, he held the attention of everyone in the audience the entire time he was on stage. You couldn’t help but to like his performance because of his amazing vocals and natural performing abilities. He got his first taste of recording both Hip-Hop and R & B at a public High School in Nashville , TN and never looked back.

When the violence of the day-to-day grind and turmoil with his family finally came to a precipice, Rooster bought a one-way bus ticket to Los Angeles, California. This new start encouraged Rooster to express his music, passion, and begin his story by creating his first album: The Wake Up Call. This EP preview of his sophomore album is witness to the fastest musical growth and artist development present in the industry today.
Rooster pursues Hip-Hop and R&B with a mission to convey his vivid story, nothing held back. The struggle to survive his long and lonely journey is something Rooster will never forget in the pursuit of his dream. Rooster is carving out his ever-growing portion of the industry with his unique combination as a vocalist and lyricist.
Rooster has performed across the country from Tennessee, to Louisiana, to Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world. Playing classic venues such as The Viper Room, Key Club, and Forbidden City in Hollywood, Rooster is making a name for himself as a captivating performer. Teaming up with Sean Healy Presents, Hollywood promoter, Rooster opened for Ying Yang Twins in June 2008 at Key Club, Hollywood. Rooster has been played on radio stations across the south and is often a featured interview on the Dave After Dark Radio show in Las Vegas. Continuing the push and on the road too success, Rooster is rapidly becoming a household name.
