After a few years working, traveling, and participating in various cultural projects with Celia Rose in a duo called Wrapped in Rain, I am now working on a new project with another american girl under STUDIOVAN called the Barettes. Despite my various projects I continue to write my own solo material...cause not many otehr seem to enjoy my somber side!With a background in opera, musical theater and jazz, I have a subtle influence of these musical styles in my music, although what I do can be classified more as folk acoustic or pop music. What I am aiming for is something profound...deep enough to express what it is I have lived and suffered, loved and learned, as well as what I have seen through the perspective of others. I am obsessed with all that is melodic, however, I am moved by all which is melancholic...an emotion that lies within us all, but often times is too dark to be expressed or felt freely. That being said, Im also uplifted by simple melodies, fun and experimental. It's variety that attracts me, so...Take a listen to these home recorded tracks...the second voice on My Home are made by Celia Rose. I am useless with my home studio so forgive the slightly crappy recordings.
