Lauren Kotinek

Lauren Kotinek is a self taught solo act out of Niles, Mi. Her original songs carry an easy listening guitar sound followed up with strong Jewel and Janis Joplin-like vocals. You will usually find her opening for a band called Mr. Z in the Michiana area. Her sets consist of her original tunes intermixed with some popular covers that easily show of the strength of her vocals. Her sets are usually topped off with a snappy version of Joplin's "Mercedes Benz", which is always a crowd pleaser. You can also find Lauren sitting in and singing for MR Z. Songs such as "Give Me One Reason", "Harder To Breathe", "Ain't No Sunshine", "No Rain", and "Fell in Love With A Boy" get the crowd on their feet and show off her versatility vocally. ..
