About Me

Born east coast, raised west coast and abroad (London,) back here in the city of angels once more from NYC. I am still startled to find myself among mountains, palm trees and people who wear sunglasses in the grocery stores at night (flourecents ARE bright.) I come from WASPy New England granite stock, I floss daily and vote liberally and I can't spell at all. My mother had to take me to the "Tall Gals" shoe store when I was little, because my feet were extra large and regular shoe stores didn't carry my size. Now I'm a grownup and they still don't. And my parents used to drive a VW bus with curtains in the windows which would honk every time we turned right. This was *awesome* for me, as I was a teenager at the time. I love cooking food for friends, drinking wine, dancing, watching movies where the zombies take over, museum tripping, all-day-long hikes, traveling to new cities and writing goofy poetry for friends' birthdays which I embarass them with by reading aloud.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who operates from the heart and with intelligence. People who are evolutionarily grown, and who believe in evolution. Folks who understand that everyone has different sides and may be a little different day to day. Those who enjoy playing with others and can also be alone comfortably. Other artists. Other hikers.
