For more than thirteen years, Hardware has persistently and consistently pushed electronic and dance music to the Australian listening public. Not because it's fashionable or profitable, but because it is worthy of our attention. In no uncertain terms, it has become the future. From the first Hardware event - a fundraiser on a New Year's Eve in 1990 - through to the multi-faceted organization with interests in events management, tour operations, music distribution and retail (no more!), Hardware has consistently sown the seeds for a fertile music culture in Melbourne.
