I am a Guru in Pencak Silat Mande Muda under Guru Roy Hagan of St.Louis, MO. He is a certified instructor under Pak Herman Suwanda from a time before the Jagabaya program was started. He focused mostly on Harimau and quite a bit of Pa Monyet. In turn they became my favorite styles as well. I have knowledge of many styles in Mande Muda but unfortunately there were many styles that were rarely taught or even shown to most of Pak Herman's students. The reasoning behind that is left to Pak Herman himself. I do know that a few styles were fading and hardly practiced any longer in Indonesia. Usually due to their no longer being needed or found to be inferior to other styles. And in turn they eventually fade.
