“ROCK FOUNDATION†is comprised of musicians who have been performing professionally for more than four decades. During their professional career they have had the opportunity to perform for various audiences playing small club venues up to large concert engagements much to the satisfaction of all age groups.
The band members include: GARY ANDREW on guitar and lead vocals, KENNY PAGE on keyboards and lead vocals, RENNY DAVIS on bass guitar and vocals, and BILLY JAMES on the drums and vocals. We also utilize the vocals of MARTY "RC" on special performances. Marty hails form New York and has worked with Gary Andrews and Billy James on many projects over the years. When "ROCK FOUNDATION GOES HORNY!" we mean that we add a complete horn section known as "TOP BRASS". This is usually done in larger venues or for special events.
Rock Foundation has shared the stage with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gary US Bonds back in Feb 2007 at the Cocoa Mardi Gras and most recently was the opening act for the legendary JOHNNY RIVERS at the Melbourne Auditorium June 16 2007 .
The group performs top chart hits from the 1950’s through the 1980’s playing various different style of music such as; OLDIES * ROCK * SOUL* R&B*& POP MUSIC……….. just to name a few.We also perform a show entitled "THE ROOTS OF ROCK & ROLL" This is a tribute to the legends of rockabilly music namely Buddy Holly & Roy Orbison. The show features the music of "ROCK FOUNDATION" and "TOP BRASS" starring "GARY ANDREW" as Buddy Holly & "RICK BRENSINGER as Roy Orbison. We are not attempting to impersonate either artist , however we are asking the audience this question... What if these two great legends were here on stage tonight in 2007, what do you think they would sound like? We are giving the fans of both artist an opportunity they never had, and that is to see both performers together on stage singing their hits side by side!
MARTY "RC" was a former member of the 'BELMONTS' the back up group for none other that "DION". He performs chart hits from the 1950's & 1960's era as well as some great "DOO WOP" tunes. We invite everyone to see this show, as it is one that you truly do not want to miss, especially if you are a fan of either of these great legends!!
