Church road North West London is where it all began. Reyco Narkz as a youth gained his influence from his father (Jah Screw), Mother (ganja baby), Uncle (Junior Dan) and other reggae artists' and producers such as; Akabu crew formally known as Sista, Jazwad(reggae producer), General Levy (reggae artist/jungle artist) and General Saint (reggae artist, the list goes on trust me......At the age of of about nine or ten Reyco developed his love for music much more as he became to understand it quite clearer. Still in the company of artists' and producers, he now knew in himself he had a passion for music (particularly reggae). As Reyco grew a bit older, say roughly around the age of twelve, he started using his dad's pc in the mini studio, he mucked about on a program made for beginner producers called 'fruity loops'.It was about a year into practicing on 'fruity loops' Reyco came up with good palletable garage beats which were heard by friends, fam and the local people but were never released. As time grew foward the level of production had stepped up, by this time Reyco had reached the age of fifteen. He released three tunes on dublate; 'Endz remix', 'Road runner' and 'Dj Storm mix'. The tunes were played locally in the North West ten by the local dj's. This had now got Reyco recognized. After the hype he kicked back, carried on making beats and then later met up with Leo Narkz (the Rap serpant) after high school. Where they used to travel everyday to college together and bump L.Narkz' mp3 player with the banging sheek 'mac off freestyle' and many other D block shit. this music, at that particular time reflected on how they both viewed life at that time ie. the struggle. Thebond between Reyco Narkz and Leo Narkz is purely based on those HERBZ. Hence the word Narcotik.Born and raised in streets of Harlesden., Leo Narkz was influenced by literally all genre's of music. From soul to classical from rock to reggae from pop to soca. From a youth he had always appreciated anything musical as long as it's melody and rythm was tasteful and catchy.Leo was the youngest of his family but basically living like an only child split between two families. His elder siblings had all moved out by the time he was five and left him two hand me down instruments; a guitar and a keyboard. He amazed his mother with melodies he used to create with them, so much that much she suggested lessons. Leo agreed and took guitar lessons by a older friend of his. He got well into it but began to become very ignorant about getting told what to play and ended up pissing off.It was around then (aged 8) that his love for Hip-Hop really began to grow. with soulful artists' like 2pac, it helped him to appreciate Rap for what it really was. From then on it was Hip-Hop all the way, but he never forgot what good music was.Early high school lyrical genius' such as; LOX, NAS, down to EMINEM made him decide to pick up a pen and do this ting himself. For two years he rapped to himself, too nervous to repeat it to his niggas because they were all brainwashed by garage. Leo never wanted to be an garage MC because he believed garage was a fad that everyone would get over............hahahhaAs he became more confident he began to spit to his closest friends, the response was out of this world and gave him an ego larger than shaq o'niel.
Before he knew it he was clashing rappers and garage mc's. By the end of high school he began spit in studio's, back on the keyboard-but producing. In college he later met up with Reyco Narkz ( THaT YoUNGin Ol'G). We sparked a spliff and the rest was mystery??????????????????????
