my name is jena, i am living in switzerland for the year 2007. its amazing! i was also in grande prairie for a while before coming to switzerland. im really from fort sask, born and raised! haha its all about the nomadic life though, for sure. not too sure where's next on my list of places to live, i know where's next on my list of places to travel though! i love being around people, although i need my space too. i like to have at least a 1 foot diameter of space around me at all times haha. jk, well sometimes thats so true! i love my friends, had so many good times with them! http://www.mydynamicspace.com/userpics/backgrounds/af0504_dj urtrad_N.jpg

My Interests

snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing, mountain biking, knitting, dancing, travelling, hanging out with my lovely friends... these are a few of my favorite things!

I'd like to meet:

cool, accepting, people, who arent afraid to have a good time. i love meeting new people. and no i would not like to meet the guy of my dreams haha. probably cause i've had quite a few nightmares in my lifetime.

i like tons of different kinds of music, from folk to punk to jazz to country haha. yes even country. im really into jack johnson, matt costa, g love, matt good, norah jones, keith urban, brad paisley, jimmy eat world, donovan frankenreiter, bob marley, dave matthews band, rob szabo, kenny chesney, relient k, xavier rudd, tim mcgraw, dolly parton, the audition, taking back sunday, fall out boy, angels and airwaves, aqualung, jem, something corporate, james blunt, etc. i like to keep the music list on random, never know what genre you'll be listening to next!

Movies:

i have a couple movies i really enjoy. lords of dogtown, curious george, napoleon dynamite, jackass 2 was hilarious. i dunno, i usually go for stupid funny movies. absolutely no horror movies! sometimes i'll do the suspense like bourne identity/ supremacy and that kind of movie. and once in a while the chick flick but only good ones like notting hill! i've been a sucker for those movies lately!

Television:

i dont really watch tv, but i like to watch the box sets of tv shows- sex and the city, fresh prince of bel-air, boston legal. haha since i moved to switzerland, i've needed to learn french so i'll turn on the tv when i go to sleep and hopefully wake up and amazingly know french!

Books:

read a couple books, but i usually judge a book by its cover so sometimes i get the crappy books. but usually they are good. i'm loving the self help books, look at how far they have gotten me haha. just kidding. i prefer books like the kite runner or the bible or the devil wears prada, books that make you think and try to understand life better.

Heroes:

there are quite a few people in my life i would consider heroes. my oma and opa, my aunt laurie, my mom and dad, nancy, my high school german teacher, roxy, justina, those people have made a huge impact in my life. thanks to them all! who i am has been formed a lot by these people. they have given me ideas and been role models to me, showing me what i wanted to be like when i grew up! sorry superman, you didnt make the list.
