My art is not by me—it comes through me. To be inspired literally means to be “in-spirited,” to fill with spirit —and so it is with my art. I am an avenue through with a greater consciousness can be expressed. I create with intuition, letting each piece be a journey unto itself. I don’t plan—I feel. I feel what the next color should be. I feel what the next shape should be. I feel what the next line should be. I feel what the next chord should be. I’m given an initial concept —a seed— and then I build layer upon layer until full fruition. Like the very shapes and cadences themselves, it is organic — an organic process fueled by wanderlust and faith. And whether it is art that mirrors life or life that mirrors art, I receive great pleasure presenting a mirror that is ripe with such intention.
