Layout by CoolChaserLuis Daponte aka Zalu an underground music producer/rapper born in Sao Miguel Azores, and raised in Providence,RI, USA (CEO) of the label Street Muzik Entertainment (s.m.e) which was formed in early 2007. The name speaks for itself being that every member of the label is from the streets and has the utmost love and respect for hip hop. The underground label has been a home based studio but is attracting the attention of local major label artists and hip hop enthusiasts across the states and gaining popularity with several hits per day adding to the growning number of songs played on myspace. His later influences include 2pac, Biggie, Big Pun, Eazy E and since they first hit the scene Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well as other local s.m.e artists. Also a few other local artists such as Big Dangul and James formally (h.s.e) who exchanged tapes in battles to get the attention of listeners and other local underground artists bands such as Feddhill. Zalu is launching his newest mixtape called " On The Right Track" along with Zalu S.M.E has endless talents such as currently incarcerated Craze T, Dwatts and Kobe, they are also teamed up with Hank Nitty of Redeye Productions.S.M.E is a Movement, everything they spit is real, it's all taken from life's experiences. They're trying to extend messages through their lyrics as well as urge people to listen to how good their artists are. They're young but they have talent as well as the drive and determination to get ahead in this industry. Personally I feel as though...if they keep going in the direction they're going right now they will be major artists by this time next year, I myself cant wait for their first major album to drop!!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FELLAS!!!
