Born in Black River St Elizabeth Jamaica October 15 1982.Born to Charmaine Westney and Hubert Samuels.Anla is the eldes of five childern .she started in the church like most well established artist.Over the years anla has learned to be very versitle with the gift of which she was born with,reggae,coulture,jazz and R&B are her choices of music. In the year 2004 she gave birth to a son 'Tevaughn Sterling' to whom she dedicated he first single 'LOVE ME' being played in Canada mostly by radio personality Kerry Mullings thanks to her Empress Anla has become well known in canada where she now resides and is now pushing her music with the Mountainedge band that has won awards in canada for playing alongside many upstanding artiste.Empress Anla is now just working on singles for now until then she says thanks to all her fans friends and family and all radio personality out there who has a hand in anla's music till then check out her to lates singles 'DONT WALK AWAY' on the old fashion ridim and 'ZION' on the zion ridim.Love and blessing.
