I attend Fullerton Junior College; majoring in theatre and music.
I plan to transfer to NYU within the next two years.
I work at Sizzler in Buena Park as a cashier.
I am . . .

an Actor.
a Singer.
a Musician.
a Techie.
a Philosopher.
a Mathematician.
a Friend.
a Husband.
. . . Me!

There’s only five things you have to know “about me” . . .

Family and friends are the most important. I’m not joking when I say I’d go crazy without them. I have a bad relationship with my father. My sisters are my heroes; my mother is more than a mother. I keep a tight nit group of friends that I constantly stay connected to: Presila, Justin, and Sergio. They keep me smiling day after day. But who’s to say? There’s always room for more! – I’m a freak when it comes to making friends! I can’t stop wanting to meet new people . . . it’s who I am.

Theatre is right there next to “family and friends” on my list. It’s more than important; it’s my life! Acting is apart of my everyday activities. We all act, no matter who we are. You’re always putting on a front for someone; whether you know it or not, you are. Nothing keeps my heart racing more than being on stage. I love it; I thrive from it! Musicals are always the best, but I could always settle for a good drama or comedy. Give me Christopher Durang or Sam Shepard any day. Apart from acting, there’s directing. I have so many ideas and such a passion for creating theatre. Then there’s tech-ing a show which is always fun! Scenic Design, Lighting, Sound Design . . . it’s all me. I do it all; I love it all!

Music has always been the key to my heart. The theory behind it all; the actual tonal harmonies; melodies and rhythms. You put it together and you have a slice of heaven. Anyone who can master the art of music is top-notch in my book! Singing has always been apart of my life. That’s cliché, but very much the truth. Church – Musicals – Jazz Clubs – Shower! ;-) If you have the voice of an angel, then be my guest! Apart from singing, I am an instrumentalist. Piano – Clarinet – Alto Saxophone – Tenor Saxophone. Give me a key signature and watch me go!

Writing and Poetry are my hidden talents. My friends comment that I have a way with words. I come across sarcastic and inconsistent at first, but give me time and you unlock a whole new world. I love using my words to discuss so many topics . . . everything but politics. I can’t stand it and refuse to talk about it. Love, Compassion, Art, Significance, Advice – those are the topics in much of my writings. I am a strong believer in faith and tend to write about past experiences. Some of my writing is very cultured based (which doesn’t mean I stay locked up in a negative mindset). I embrace all the elements of life and it’s evident in my speech and writings. Share your words with me! I’d love to listen.

My personality rounds out the five things that you should know because it is the basis of any friendship to know what that other person is like. Most importantly, I am very direct. If I have something to say, I say it. Often times, I fail to think about things before hand, so I usually put my foot in my mouth. But that’s who I am and people accept it. On the other hand, I have a heart of gold. While I may show you your faults, I embrace who you are and aim to love you for who you are. I give more than I take; I love more than I hate. Hopeless romantic . . . that’s me, unfortunately. I suppose that’s why it is I’m so outspoken. I try to put on a front so as to not seem vulnerable; unfortunately, I am. My friends know how dedicated I am to them – my goals – my passions – and to just being me.

That’s pretty much it. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or just to say “hello.”
There’s always room for good, true friends in this world. Some one like you.

Quotes to live by . . .

Love is a temporary madness; it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of eternal passion. That is just being in love, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two.

Louis de Bernieres, Corelli's Mandolin

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who could accept me for me! It’s not hard to figure out who I am . . . and it’s not hard to figure out what I’m looking for. One thing I didn’t mention above is LOVE. I aim to love every person that I come into contact with. Not on a intimate level, just friendship wise. First of all, it’s my belief that as a society, we never spend enough time trying to get to know someone. We seem to be concerned about the outside rather than the inside – what makes a person a person. And that’s what I try to find. Every person I call a friend, I love them for who they are. I am proud to say that. I was able to love them as a person on their terms. Hopefully, that doesn’t frighten anyone away. I always seek to make new friends. I thrive on people’s personalities. It’s just who I am.

As for relationships . . . those go as the same above. Everything always starts off as friends; things just happen to build from there. And like I said, it’s not hard to figure out what I’m seeking in someone. If you can make me laugh, think, and cry . . . all at the same time, then I think I’ve found the one.

At the same time, I’m also looking to network. Find fellow actors – directors – musicians – singers . . . anyone and everyone. I’m always looking to build and further my career; and that all relates to knowing and having connections. Don’t hesitate to add me to your extended network!
