Victor V. Hogan II is the epitome of prodigious talent. Born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Queens, Victor started his career as an artist at the tender age of six ;instead of crayons; his media were pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and oil.A move to Atlanta spurred his exploration into other media ;computer graphics and video production. By the age of 22, he illustrated a children's Bible, Children Of Color Story Book Bible published by Nelson Publishers in several foreign languages.Victor attended Clayton State College, where he majored in studio art--sculpting, oil painting, drawing, and photography. At the Art Institute of Atlanta he majored in graphics/animation and television production. Victor now has more than 12 years experience in TV production: producing, shooting, directing, motion graphics editing, and non-linear editing.He is the co-owner and CEO of Golden Street Entertainment, a post-production house established in 1999; and the co-founder and Vice President of the Atlanta Black Film Festival, a non-profit organization created to expose and train up-and-coming independent filmmakers.He has won numerous awards and honors including: an Emmy, a New York Festivals Silver World Medal; a World Media Festival Intermedia Globe Gold Medal; 2 Omni Awards; a Videographer Award of Excellence; an Axiem Award; 7 Telly Awards; 5 Aurora Awards; 3 Communicator Awards; 2 nomination by the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists.Among Victor's most notable projects are: Emmy Award winning documentary The New Face of Homelessness; the documentary, Born to Fly: African American Aviators of the 20th Century; award-winning Major Broadcasting Cable Network [MBC] sales and marketing campaigns for both 2002 and 2003; an award-winning sales video for Coors Light Corp. featuring Jamie Foxx, Kim Porter and Leila Arcieri.www.goldenstreetentertainment.com..
