About Me

Wearable Collections, a socially responsible New York-based clothing recycling company seeks to institute a clothing recycling program within residential buildings. By placing a used clothing receptacle in your building, we hope to divert some of the nearly 400 million pounds of textiles that end up in NYC landfills annually. Through these collections we are able to raise funds for various charitable organizations. The Wearable Collection recycling program entails:1.Placement of Bins We will supply you with a recycling bin that suits your specific space requirements. This cart should be placed in a location that is easily accessible (i.e. laundry room or basement storage area).2.Awareness We will notify residents of the program and location of the bins with flyers (see sample flyer) placed on community board and/or in mailboxes.3. Pick-Up While the amount of clothing will vary from building to building, you can expect a pick-up once a week. We will adjust our pick up schedule to suit your buildings specific needs. Our goal is to make clothing recycling easy and convenient for your residents. If you are interested in establishing a clothing-recycling program, we will find a way to work within your specific constraints. Contact us so we can get started on “Greening” your building immediately.Sincerely,Michael Sorel President 646.515.4387 [email protected] www.wearablecollections.com Background By Zoodu Myspace Layouts
