At 19, what can I say???....ALOT!!!At the age of 6, I began lessons in the Piano, and it was from then that it was clear I had a natural talent. By the age of 11, I was known in the local area as a special talent and was attending music college with 17 & 18 yr olds! All this time, my musical taste was alot more mature than the kids my age, and artists in my cd collection included BIG,Snoop, and albums like Jungle Massive and Kiss anthems and rave tapes, and listening to late night sessions on radio one and kiss 100, or pirates!I then was baught my first pair of decks for my 13th birthday. I naturally took to them and was a vinyl junkie in the making even sending my mum into HMV to make sure i got the bargain records! Later that year, I won Young Musician of the year, and then again at the age of 15, and was reported in local press as "One to watch", and "Talented in every way"! School was going well, and music and sport were flying away inclding tours of the US and UK, even dancing at Pinapple, teaching dance, and doing fashion shows in the Savoy!After leaving college and having being involved in the jewellery trade at the age of 16, I began my career as a Jeweller, thus demoting music to the back ground. A few private parties later, sets at under 18 nights at Aqua nightclub in Grays which included a set with Nicky Blackmarket, and bundles of 18th bashes, I decided to put out some mixtapes and the response was fantastic!Aged 19, It was one of the mixtapes falling into the hands of a promoter which landed me with a trial set in room 2 of Zero 6 in Southend....WHICH I TORE UP!!!! The response was phenominal and I was immediately given a residency at Garage Flashback at Zero 6 which lasted 8 weeks where I played with Special MC, MC Viper,Jameson,EZ & Kofi B! The promotors fell out with the club over money and I was given a call by Lj & Horra who asked if I was interested in a set on the radio station RISE ONE FM, and it has been all systems go! I had a show on 98.3fm at 4.30pm til 6.00pm on sundays entitled "Super Sundays" and have DJed at Soul Heaven, Time and Envy, Ivory Rooms and at the residents party at the award winning Turnmills in London. as well as various venues accross London, Essex and Kent.For more info or bookings, please contact me on [email protected]
