Viollet, real name Mark Viollet is from Stretford, South Manchester and first started singing when he was young and then started mc'ing when he reached his early teens and, he is still doing it into his early 20's. He has written and recorded many tracks that have helped build his status in the Manchester grime scene. He has performed at various events around manchester and also outside of Manchester. He has now built a good reputation and is reciveing collaboration requests from more and more people. He has blown up in just over a year in Manchester.
Viollet is a member of Mind of Mind of Grime and has also recently joined Highrise Entertainment. He continues to push himself and his music as he wants to increse his reputation all over the UK not just in Manchester. He is known for his outstanding hooks.
Viollet released his first mixtape 'Better Late Than Never volume. 1' towards the end of 2007 and has recived very good feedback. Viollet has also performed at many clubs and festivals around Greater Manchester including D-Percussion 2006 & D-Percussion 2007, The Music Box, Zion Arts Centre, Blast Festival 2007, Altrincham Festival 2007, New Islington Festival 2007, Sankys Soap, Sidewinder Click at Alibi, Waterside Arts Centre, Contact Theatre, Scu Bar, Aqua Bar, Jabez Clegg, Gas Club (Aiya Napa), Bobbys Bar (Resident MC for Twice as Nice.(Tenerife).
He is currently working on his second mixtape and other musical projects.
