I don't know what's become of things these days. I don't think what once was Flipper would much bother with punk now, although members of what once was Flipper have used that name to cover Weezer, NoFX and Metalica in reacent years which is hardly my interpretation of their legacy but what do I know. I know that Flipper were right. Beyond the bravado and art fronts they put up. They were in a boat of there own at a time when there were a few great and lonely ships floating around outside the circus of whatever it is. It's the same today, except its worse today, harder because it's so damn easy and the floods just keep rising. If you go digging, and it's equally easy to dig; the perished skin just sloughs off, then you can find places where Flipper would have gone to or have come from, but it certainly isn't the emo-pop-punk-me-me-me kids who seam to think they have taken their place. It's further down than that. If I don't accept you as a friend it's cause you're doing it wrong.
