Cherie Gears

I am lead vocalist in a number of ensembles and have been gigging professionally around England for the past six years. I love singing in a range of genres, my repertoire includes Jazz, Soul, Pop, Reggae, Funk and Musical Theatre. It is my passion to perform and connect with an audience. I love writing my own material as well as working with the band to arrange songs. I have always taken part in a variety of performing arts activities in order to develop my skills as a performer and tutor.In June 2007 Lazybaby was born!Lazybaby is made up of 5 diverse musicians who together create a new fresh and original sound. Key elements to my vocal practise include- technique, originality, improvisation and performance skills.
