I'm assuming it's some sort of short synopsis of my general view of life or somesuch. Whatever. I was the product of civil war - Dad from the far north, Mom from the south. Born and raised in Big D. Married my high school sweetheart after many years of dating (nearly 10). My church is one of my favorite places to be. I'm addicted to sudoku and crossword puzzles (thanks Granny!). I love animals. Mythology and history. Oh- and hockey.. Hockey, hockey, hockey. I was so happy when the season started again. GO STARS!!!!

I'd like to meet:

Not looking to meet anyone, really. More or less just keeping up with people I already know.

Music:

Metallica, Evanescence, Anna Nalick, Weird Al Yankovic (genius), Nirvana, Paul Simon, oldies in general are good, John Mayer and John Mayer Trio, No Doubt, Blue October, Bowling for Soup. Some of the newer stuff is a bit too much like everything else, but some of it's not bad.

Movies:

Princess Bride, Father Goose, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Grease, Kinky Boots (thanks Nissa!), Strictly Ballroom, The Mummy and the Mummy Returns, A Knight's Tale

Television:

What's that?
Is that the box that you can watch moving stuff on that isn't on a DVD?
Sports. Occasionally Hercule Poirot and Nero Wolfe when it's on. History stuff - all kinds.

Books:

Currently reading Edith Hamilton's Myhology. Addicted to Agatha Christie mysteries. Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe series. Love Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allan Poe.
