Trilithon

Formed in mid 2002 after the collapse of the band "slain" trilithon is a one man project driven foward by xenos after he decided to give up on the whole "band" idea and do everything himself.
after the recording of a simple demo tape (ash nazg dur butuluck) Trilithon was signed to Dj-nerate's "impure records. having known Dj-nerate for many years Xenos trusted him to do a good job and he even began programing the drums and sythnetics for later Trilithon recordings.
later on the band became more serious and Xenos began writing better songs with more meaningfull lyrics. toutching on themes of paganism, warfare, history and nationalism Trilithon began to properly take form.
in the autumn of 2004 with massive help from Dj-nerate Trilithon recorded its second e.p (darkness on these waters). the cd was never widely distributed due to lack of funding but has apparently become highly requested within loughborough's underground metal scene.
Trilithon then went silent for a long time as both Xenos and Dj-nerate persued other projects. but in 2007 Trilithon returned with a vengence and released (hlaefdige min sod et deat du segst) i firery british pagan themed album, even though surprisingly short it was certainly not lacking in intensity. drawing new influences from bands such as Hateforest, nokternal mortum and the old wainds Trilithon had finaly found its authentic voice.
later on that year Xenos replied to an advert placed by the leicester based black metal band "Dagonoth" as they were looking for a bassist. after meeting the band and attending a rehersal he became a full member and even performed a gig with them at leicester's "shed" venue.
but this did by no means detain Xenos from thoughts about Trilithon. in fact it fired them up even more. and also fans of "Dagonoth" were showing interest in Trilithon.
in early 2008 Trilithon released a third recording "land of the endless horizon" one again through dj-nerate's impure records. completely smashing the previous recordings in length and heaviness. but the album also contained a more concentrated lyrical theme. based upon the history of the anglo saxon middlands (or mercia as it was known) lyrics of battles heathen pride and brave warriors riddle the album. in an interview Xenos described "land of the endless horizon" as "the best thing i've ever recorded, i cant bielieve i came up with some of the stuff on that record".
Throughout 2008 Xenos performed up and down the country with Dagonoth on their "Enshrouded in death tour" and also performed the vocals for "Throne ov damnation's" debut album "Labyrinth Eternal.
After this Xenos returned to the studio to work on the ill fated mini album "Aelf lar angelcynn gyldorcraeft". alot of work was put into the recording but in the end neither Xenos or Dj-Nerate were happy with it and decided not to release it.
in early 2009 Xenos was asked to play guitar for the newly formed band "Adversary". due to Dagonoth guitarist Callum departing to attend a seat of learning the other members decided to start a new band without him. Xenos was of course only too happy to be part of a new project as he knew the Dagonoth members were comitted and professional. after only three rehersals Adversary hit the stage for the "inception to genocide" event. another gig followed shortly after and the first demo "hymns to the unholy" was recorded in spring 2009 and rleased shortly after.
Xenos is currently in the process of recording the fourth Trilithon album "Gamol Tima" this time with Adversary drummer "Chaos" stepping in on drums and also producing the album. Along with chaos Adersary bassist "Shatterhand" has also been drafted in as a session member to perform bass for possible live performances in the near future.
