Tim McIntosh was born into a musical family, and trained by his mother to play piano at a very young age. As the years went by, he picked up a number of intstruments including:Vocals,Guitar,Piano/Keyboards,Bass,Drums,Octofone,
World Percussion,Accordian and Harmonica. When he was 11 years old, a friend of the family taught him the art of multitrack recording. From that moment on, he had a dream of recording his very own album one day.At 21 years old Tim joined the group Joe Mama which was a versitile and high energy rock band. Tim along with the other members of Joe Mama brought a variety of influences together to capture a fresh new sound. After being together for 1 year, they released the album "Money Tree". After many great times and 3 years later the band parted musical ways. Tim took a short break from musical projects, but eventually decided it was time to pursue his dream...it was time to write record and produce his very own album which after a long wait is finally finished! There are 4 additional members that really bring Tim's studio sounds to life. Jon Bowden holds down some of the backing vocals and is a master of percussion. Wahly Chung takes care of some very sweet bass licks. Jeff Stephenson plays incredible and melodic lead guitar. We would like to welcome our newest addition to the Project McIntosh family, who will take care of a ton of backing vocals and some tamborine. Her name is Ashley Medeiros, and she has a very sweet and powerful voice which adds a very nice flavor to the P.M. tunes! Even though the album is soley recorded and produced by Tim, the live show wouldn't be the same without his current members. An album titled "Unfold" is currently in the works, which was recorded and produced in his own home studio. The album is due for release April 2009. The sound will be far more organic, and acoustic than Tim's previous writings...but with that same old rock and roll energy. See you at the show!
