About Me

There is always a story behind my headline.
My name is Patrick and this is what I do. If you know me and my family, I have a blog here .
I'm not responsible for the content of my friends pages...
Visit us at Independent Music Online .
Submit stories about your favorite indie bands at the Indie News Network .
We are also on MOG (Music Blog).
Get some free mp3s at ZuneTracks .
If you want to see a great show, go see Until Dawn .
If you want to hear some other great artists, check out Benjamin Olson , Tim Tibbitts , Exercise in Futility , Bent Ascent , Poor Skeletons and many other excellent bands at Independent Music Online .
If you want to keep up with the latest in technology, from someone who knows, drop by and see Big Eddie Ed .
We are an Independent Music Store for Indie Bands/Artists. All bands can sign up with us for FREE! The bands can set their own price for their music, and they can distribute their music in any of the following formats; .m4a (AAC), .mp3 (MP3), .ogg (Ogg Vorbis), .flac (Free Lossless Audio Codec, a.k.a. "flack")
We are based in the Upstate of South Carolina and are trying to make noise with a huge Indie Music movement, but we can always use more help. We need people to go to our site, tell their friends, tell their bands, tell everyone they know.
I have loved music all of my life, and want this to be an avenue for Bands/Artists of any Genre to get their music out, and not have to compromise their creative freedom. No one should have to give that up. Nor should they have to give up all of the rights to that music, just to sign a deal.
Help us spread the word, and make some noise in the world. Because music sure does need it. I do this because I love music, and nothing else. Not fame, not riches, I do it for the love of the music and to support indie music.

My Interests

Emo...Innovation, setting the standards, going against the grain, in short...all out REVOLUTION!!

and/or

Dressing up as Bigfoot at Halloween, and standing just off the edge of the woods, near the road, so that passing cars will see me and slam their car to a halt so they can get a look, and then I run off in to the woods.

and/or

Linux

I'd like to meet:

Anybody that loves and supports music. Emo people. Michael Jackson. Robert Plant. Bigfoot. MC Hammer. Tom from Myspace. Anyone from Weezer. Ric Flair. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

For Indie bands, I like (see my website www.ind-music.com for some of these):

Tim Tibbitts, Nineteen 88, Benajmin Olson, Bent Ascent, August Christopher, Death AfterLife, Self, Deadlock, Lee Haymond & the Cybermonkeys, Wesley Willis, Shell, and many more to come...

Movies:

SPACEBALLS!, Star Wars Trilogy, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, This is Spinal Tap, Monty Python, Kindergarten Cop...too many more to name. Anything that is Emo.

Television:

Television is the spawn of the evil one..., although Family Guy, Venture Bros, Futurama, Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and Beavis and Butthead are my favorites.

Books:

J.R.R. Tolkien, Timothy Zahn, Douglas Adams, Harry Potter series, Michael Crichton, Tech Geek books...

Heroes:

First and foremost...Bigfoot (and by Bigfoot I mean Sasquatch, the big hairy monkey-like creature that lives in the Pacific Northwest...not the Monster Truck)

Anyone that has actively promoted the Indie Music culture, and shown that things can be done differently than the mainstream.
