About Me

Foundation strives to mix thought- provoking lyrics with creative danceable music. Our cohesiveness stems from the fact that all four members of our group grew up together. Some of our many influences are 2 Pac, Rage Against the Machines, KRS- One, Dr. Dre, Pink Floyd, Geto Boyz, R. Kelly, Nas, and Stevie Wonder. Our group consists of four members, 3 of which are brothers. The members are: Jason Storkson (vocals, production, engineering, mixing), Doug Taylor (vocals, production, engineering, mixing), Josh Storkson (vocals, production), Dustin Storkson (vocals). As a group we record and mix every one of our songs, and also produce some. One of our main goals is to make a connection with the audience we are performing for. We accomplish this by making sure our music is full of feeling and emotion. With the addition of poems and beat boxing breaks our set becomes quite electric. We have performed at Bars, Clubs, Block parties and House parties. We often receive compliments after shows on our energy and emotion. People say they “can tell we feel it.
