I waited 35 years to have the most wonderful change take place in my life, Mackenzie Danielle came into my world on May 22, 2006 and nothing will ever be the same. She is perfect and reminds me of the fact that at one time in our lives nothing else matters but living and exploring life to it's fullest. I am so at a point in life that stability and security mean everything. I promise myself that the next 36 years will not be a repeat of the first, that everything will be done better and life will have meaning. Somethings are bound to come and go, amon g those are lifes little treasures, with any hope i want to hold onto every breathing moment and bit of sunshine that i can while I can. I have no time in this short life to waste away wanting what i dont have, wishing for what I cant have and dreaming for what could be. There are too many memories to be made and wonderful times to be had. Some people come and go in our lives and i wnat to keep those who have come from going, I've come to learn love more than ever before in my life....I want to continue believing in it.

My Interests

My life took a turn for the best and nto so best several years ago. I welcomed teh brith of my daughter, Mackenzie Danielle with tears and smiles more than I've ever known in my life. With in months she was diagnosed with Bi-lateral hearing loss and, thus has no hearing abilities. At 12 months old she was approved for a cochlear implant that we were told would give her the possibility of existing in a hearing world....As it stands she is developing her speac just fine adn learning sign. She will have a hard time fitting into both the hearing and non-hearing worls because of her implant. I can only pray that she sees the efforts and accomplishments of others in this world and fight the good fight to overcome what some percieve as a disability and turn that into nothing more than a chalenge! Mackenzie is my light in a world of darkness, she is my hope where I thought I had none...she is my promise of a fufture for a world accepting of any oen no matter how different they may be. Other than that I am making it through life as best as i can. Seeing my daughter smile, hearing her laugh...watching her become a woman. Praying that she does not walk down the same path i chose but can learn from my mistakes. Riding my Harley as often as I can for as long as I can. Training and trying to stay in shape, trying to forget how easy it is to be lazy and miss going to the gym. There's nothing like the feeling of being free and loving what you are doing at that moment in time....make that moment last for as long as you can. That sensation running through your heart riding along a scenic road, the beach the mountains where ever your heart desires. Spending time getting back to normal, learning to live each day for what it's worth.

To sum it up, I want to meet honest people who are true and sincere with their intentions and with others. People, people AND MORE PEOPLE. To be surrounded by people who appreciate each day for what it is worth. People who live for the moment, live the dream and finish the job. People who are honest to themselves, hoenst to others and true to their hearts. People who accept each challenge and are not afraid to leap head first into the fire and take on the day with every bit of energy and ghusto they can muster. Ride the roller coaster, catch that wave and fight the good fight. Pick your battles wisely, each one is monumental in your growth and journey. To meet people who are honest to them selves and every one else in their lives.

You name it I'll watch it once, well almost anything.

Television:

Heroes, House, CSI (all of them)Law and Order SVU and Criminal Intent.(dont get me started USA plays it all night long...I think i've seen every epsiode a billion times!

Books:

Fantasy science fiction, good novel as long as I can get past the first page.....it's been so long since I've sat down with a good book....soon though, very soon. I think I'd much rather write a good one now, a long one. I've been reading a lot by David Baldacci lately, pretty good stuff!

Heroes:

Such a big question....I dont have any real Heroes other than my Dad....if I could be as honest, polite and real as he is then there would be nothing more to achieve in life....the man doesnt say a mean thing about any one and lives to be with my mom who is my other hero, so sweet kind and innocent....not even aware of the troubles in the world around her. living each day to be with the one she loves...
