Steel Toed Aggression started in 2006 with the arrival of the man called Bonzo Aggression. Almost the lead singer of The SIDS, Bonzo, dropped that offer, and recruited Alan Bloomfield in taking part in an Oi punk band, seeing as how Chicago and the whole world needed more of them. Bonzo and Alan then asked the legendary Mikel Askenzo, also guitarist of The SIDS, to play guitar for the band. Mikel graciously accepted, then with just one last spot to fill they searched long and hard. first was nick but lost him due to personal descisions and the it was to steve also known as noads, but he wouldnt make it due to lack of availibility and difference is musical preference. but not to fear the starting 3 have finally found a new bass player. The nortorius Fiend . . . the vocalist of the sids has decided to pick up the bass and is working on bass parts on our set. and thus was the beginning of Steel Toe Aggression! When the band was still getting off the ground, there was much practicing, songwriting, and pizza eating. Steel Toe Aggression played their first show on April 21st 2007 in a dirty old basement called the Humility Gallery. Since then, STA has gained quite a remarkable fan base, and is planning on playing many, many more shows in the future, and are working with a professional on recording a demo. We are always looking for more shows so let us know if you want us to play we will play for partys/charitys/shows/and even for your grandma so just give us a message
Besides that this band is anti racist, fascist, communist, emo, and diet pills. Also you may have noticed we are anti a lot, well we embrace our hate so piss off! OOO almost forgot we are also anti food places that sell untasty hot dogs!
