Well to start off my name is Robert Englund, I am an actor mostly known as Freddy Krueger. I started my training in acting at age 12, taking up drama courses at the University of Oakland, U.C.L.A., California State-Northridge, the Michigan Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the Rochester, NY, branch of R.A.D.A.
Making my first professinal appearance on Godspell as 'the bumptious backwoodsman'. And after that, i made appearances in Hustle and A star is born.
Around 1984, i had been ask to play the role. as malevolent, mass-murdering wraith Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street directed by Wes Craven. And after that I continued acting as the murderer in five squeals.
I am settled in Cally now, just waiting for the next big thing.
