Profile courtesy of MySpace LayoutsMy name is Steven Pringle and I am an aspiring writer. I am currently studying for a degree in film and video at the University of Wales, Newport. I love films, but not artsy fartsy picks, just good films that you can enjoy without psychoanalysing it! That doesn't mean I only like brainless films, but given a choice between a Croatian Political drama and a Kevin Smith film, I'd go for Silent Bob any day! My other great passion is comics! I am currently trying to get my submissions seen by editors, and even though I have had no luck so far, I hope that eventually something may get picked up.

My Interests

As I said, my passions are films and comics (yes, I know, I am such a comic book geek). Generally my passions are anything creative, especially writting, but I also love Buffy, Firefly, Hellraiser, anything View askew, WWE, and so much more I just can't even think about it right now!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with similar interests, especially people into comics. Any would be artists out there, I wanna hear from you!

Music:

I enjoy music but it isn't my main interest. My favourite band of all time are Creed, but I also love Black Sabbath, Ozzy, SOAD, and the Henrees!

Movies:

As I said I love films, and anything by Kevin Smith is great by me (especially Clerks 1 & 2, and Chasing Amy), Serenity, X-Men, Prophecy, American Pie, and loads more!

Television:

My favourite TV shows were Buffy, Angel, and Firefly. I also like South Park, My Name is Earl, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and the amazing Scrubs!

Books:

Anything by Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, I read alot. But I mainly read comics! Fav's include all X-Men, anything from IDW, Watchmen, 30 Days of Night, and loads more!

Heroes:

My heroes are Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon (probably given that away a bit, huh?), Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Brian Michael Bendis, Brian K Vaughan, and Alan Moore.
