"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty"
-Albert Einstein
Seek flow and synchronicity...
Lately I've been having some amazing new realizations, experiences, and synchronistic situations coming up that make me ridiculously happy and excited to be alive. I'm lucky enough to be able to learn and help people as I create abundance in my life and it carries me to bigger, better, and deeper places... and I get to meet all kinds of wise, well-intentioned, conscious people as a result.
Sometimes my favorite thing to do is to wake up, walk out the door and engage with people, new energy and sunshine. But the next day I might never leave the house and put all my time and attention into work, creativity, and have a relentless focus and intensity about what I'm into and doing.
A few things that make me feel like I'm sync with the world are tapping into my creative muse through music (guitar and songwriting), writing, staying connected with nature and the simplicity of life, surfing, yoga, or whatever I can do to get out in the beautiful world and out of my head.
Gotta keep moving and finding new people and places. Recent and upcoming adventures include Costa Rica, Greece, Croatia, Fiji, Hawaii, Spain, Sayulita Mexico, New York, SF, and Carmel & Big Sur.
One of my very favorite experiences is looking out the window when I'm flying over a city and seeing where it is I spend my time, or where I'm going to be. That way, when I'm in the middle of it all I can still remember that there's a whole other perspective and a bigger picture to where I am, what I'm doing, and how connected I really am to life and everything around me. And by the way, you are too...
