About Me

**************This page has been dedicated to my Panic cover band but will now be(4/09) focused on original songs. I am still playing in a Widespread Panic Cover band but it is now called Wrangler Space. Please visit www.myspace.com/wranglerspace1 for info about my goings on related to Panic cover jams and shows. Thanks. Let me know if you like the original songs and enjoy two songs "Check Your Ego" and "Higher Fountain" featuring special guest musician JOJO HERMANN! ************************************************************ ***************For the moment I will leave info regarding my inspiration for Panic covers on this page.******************************************************* ********************R.I.P MICHAEL HOUSERFor the uninitiated WRANGLER SPACE is a band from Nashville, Tn. who perform Southern Rock which incorporates blues and country. Upon first hearing the songs performed live by WSP in 1993 at 328 (Nashville) Robert thought of Duane Alllman, that long passed away brother, whom which the singer (JB) said you can’t help but be influenced by. Its not just the lingering lead that evokes brother Duane but its the places the music goes. From the country front porch to the grittish cities of the world, music peppered with english, surf, new wave, punk, reggae, metal, rock and roll, country, boogie woogie New Orleans, Jazz essentially distilling up a dance party. However the country elements prevail creating a true tonic for the believers. And Believers there have become, Incredibly folks who happen into a show of these songs fall under the spell of the music due to the energy being released in the room. You can just feel it, a regional decompression of a city who can finally feel a rapture that energizes the devil out so the God Cartharsis prevails in a communal experience, kinda of like how you feel hearing Duane jump off the turntable and absolutely stroke the blues. The twangy aspect however relaxes, so the show is anything but Widespread Panic, its more old school traditional and all your friends and date are dancing. Old Tribal organic fun! R.I.P.
