Formal constructions and textile surfaces - self-created textile patterns by digital printing - are used in an abstract, conceptual sense. All details underline form and content with a touch of irony but without becoming decoration.
The use of high quality materials accentuate the sophisticated aesthetics of design. Minimalist of colours, shapes and design, reduced on the essential. It's about style und consequence, about objectification and a measure of distance.
Kristin Hensel is a Berlin based designer who established her label in 2005, immediately after graduating from the University of Art & Design Burg Giebichenstein Halle/Saale Germany.
The first collection 'Things Around Me' was shown on the Beck's Fashion Experience during the Berlin Fashion Week in 2005. Further collections were presented during the Paris Fashion Week at Rendez - Vous Femme or Ideal Showroom Berlin.
