About Me

In 2006 Starbaby Films completed their long awaited second feature "Nancy Nancy", which had it's world premiere in Atlanta, Georgia in August. A black comedy musical, "Nancy Nancy" is the story of a mysterious stranger who arrives at an isolated seaside town and keeps a backward brother and sister hostage in their own home. It stars the inimitable Tim Burns and Michael Burkett with Polly Stanton, Matthew Thomas, Heath Kalmakow and Tania Wert. The film is dedicated to Michael Burkett who passed away on 17th July, 2005. In April 2007 Starbaby completed a spin off film called "Moonlight & Magic". A Musician, gypsy, tramp, and thief, a homeless mohican and his ill companion continue a journey across Australia's high country as they search for a home they can call their own. With their kombi van and thousands of dollars of black money and stolen goods, they are confronted with the dying culture of their country as they spread their moonlight and magic throughout the land and the people they meet. The film stars Tim Burns, Maxine Klibingaitis, Elspeth Ballantyne, Dallas Palmer, Reylene Pearce and Jessica Illichmann. The film is available for screenings now!! Currently in production for 2008 is "Boronia Boys" about love and suburbia starring Cameron Nugent, Tim Burns, Desiree Smith, Maxine Klibingaitis, Elspeth Ballantyne, Tania Wert and Kylie Foster. Projects for 2009 include the black comedy "The House Cleaners".
